Summer Camps for EFL Teachers includes 30 hours of
training, delivered as a five-day summer program. These initial
sessions are followed by reinforcement sessions, lesson design
and facilitated collaborations. ESILC trains teachers in
effective presentation and facilitation that supports classroom
management. Facilitators model ESILC’s methodology as they
provide classroom coaching, observations, and end-of-day
debriefing.
Teachers take part in a curriculum mapping process that is
designed to help teachers and administrators align curriculum
with school and state standards, track and implement educational
goals, highlight best practices, facilitate benchmark assessment
planning and testing, and evaluate test results as they relate
to curriculum plans.
ESILC’s Summer Camps for Teachers is a professional development
program for educators that provide a proven research-based
approach to the design and delivery of curriculum. The camps for
Teachers programs help educators put joy in the learning process
and turn classrooms into optimal learning environments.
Teaching Skills

positive atmosphere of rapport and respect, and a supportive
environment. The training also includes steps for improving
presentation skills, designing engaging lessons and identifying and

effective classroom management, accelerating learning, making
content more meaningful, and supporting standards-based curriculum.
Participants receive resource manuals appropriate for their specific
trainings.
Reinforcement Courses/Refresher Days
The Reinforcement courses deepen educators’ understanding of each
Learning level. The training assists teachers in how best to apply
the concepts and strategies to individual needs and classrooms.
Educators get the opportunity to interact, ask questions and
practice their skills. Refresher days update the participants when
there has been a significant time lapse between levels.
Classroom Coaching
Teachers Classroom Coaching involves fun, dynamic and interactive
exchanges between the ESILC’s facilitator and teachers in their own
classrooms. The facilitator provides support and feedback and
fine-tunes techniques for greater performance. When desired, the
facilitator will personally instruct a learning skill class and
model ESILC’s Learning methods, as well as meet with teachers for
individual coaching, brainstorming and debriefing.
Facilitation Fundamentals

methods that can be applied to presenting learning and life skills.

needs. Educators get the opportunity to interact, ask questions and
practice their new skills. Schools may choose from ESILC’s Learning
